This class is taught from a Christian perspective, which means that we acknowledge God as the giver of life and the source of our strength. We recognize that every child (and mother!) is a gift from God and that birth is an opportunity to draw closer to our Creator and learn to surrender to His goodness more deeply.

Our Christian prenatal class communicates these truths and offers helpful insights on how to prepare your body and mind for childbirth, as well as your soul.

I am not a Christian, could I still benefit from taking this class?

Absolutely! doula denise approaches prenatal education from a Christian perspective, but the content of your individual class does not need to include the overtly Christian aspects of childbirth preparation such as discussion on prayer etc.
